Contributions
It is difficult to manage the activities of the Academy with the minimum grants being given by the Goverment. It is needless to mention here that some philanthropic individuals and institutions have been lending a helping hand to the Academy in order to support its cause for sanskrit. Well known industrial organizations like TVS Group, have come forward voluntarily for promoting Sanskrit for the posterity. The academy accepts contributions from individuals and institutions which are exempt under the Rule 80 (G) and 35 (i) (iii) of the Income Tax Act, Government of India. We request all our well wishers and patrons to ensure that the Academy grows into a potential centre of research.

In order to proceed with these tasks, the Academy requires funds. The current financial grants from government bodies are hardly sufficient to even maintain the existing work of the Academy. Any expansion of its activity to carry out the vital tasks described above will need financial support from the community of donors and from philanthropic institutions. We have devised schemes ( described below ) for accepting contributions from individuals like you, who share our concern for the necessity of such work, as undertaken by the Academy. In all cases as you can see, the Academy, in return, intends providing you with certain useful services.
Contributions Schemes
1. Patrons Persons and organisations who donate Rs, 10,00,000/- or more
2. Donors Persons and organisations who donate Rs, 2,00,000/- or more
3. Life Members Persons and organisations who donate Rs, 1,00,000/- or more
4. Others ( a ) Individuals :
  1. Rs 5,000/- per year for 5 years or US $200 per year for 5 years if not an Indian resident.
  2. Rs 4,000/- per year for 5 years or US $150 per year for 5 years if not an Indian resident.
  3. Rs 3,000/- per year for 5 years or US $100 per year for 5 years if not an Indian resident.
  4. Rs 2,000/- per year for 5 years or US $75 per year for 5 years if not an Indian resident.
  5. Rs 1,000/- per year for 5 years or US $50 per year for 5 years if not an Indian resident.
  ( b ) Organisations :
  1. Rs 15,000/- per year for 5 years or $ 500 per year for 5 years if a foreign institution.
